I have, perhaps unsurprisingly, completed the bootcamp which I wrote about so long ago. Gone, too, are the days in which I was not actively enrolled in college.
Shortly after completing my web development bootcamp, I decided to enroll in Western Governors University as a Software Development undergrad. Since then, I’ve learned quite a lot about computers, networking and security. While all of these classes felt a bit like a waste of time, I’m glad to have taken them, as the broad knowledge (and the certs that come with it) may make me more competitive in my eventual job search.
I’m about halfway through my first web development class of the program, and boy oh boy do I wish I had never paid for that bootcamp in the first place.

You live and learn, I suppose.
